The client app requires a small amount of configuration, to connect peer-to-peer with your remote server, where an ip address, port and passwords are required.The free version offers functionality to connect to your remote server, search and download files.
The paid version can also provide other services.
The File Service on your home server should typically set its root directory to the server web folder of the installation.
